It takes faith a size of a mustard seed to guide us through. God will help those who are willing to help themselves. Prayer is our kingdom door and Faith is the holy key that will opens that door and we must have the courage to go through that door. It is very concise. Which helps me read and focus. A very good guide to help me realize that I must have more action on my end beyond just faith and prayers. Many ways I can do more..... clear and understandable.
I am thankful to have come across this short book. It is full of God's truths, truths that will bring you closer to Him, truths that will make your life a little easier. Read it, you won't be disappointed.
Having been brought up in the church and having read the Bible I knew the verses used in this book but simply had not been living them as I should.
These verses are some that I have lived by and preached in the past but I believe that we all need a refresher course now and then.
I have been a professional pilot and flight instructor since the sixties and know from experience we need to review the rules and get some hands on time in practicing what we know. The Federal Aviation Regulations require that every pilot has a flight review every other year to make sure they are staying proficient in their flying skills. I believe we need a regular Bible study to review the rules we already know as well as fellowship time with other believers to encourage and be encouraged in God's word.
My wife and I used reading this book together as our morning Bible study today. I would recommend this book to anyone whether it is for Bible study or just a pastime read. It will be a blessing to all.
Lynn's writing is very simplified. She makes very good points in her chapters that will make you and help you understand that life is only complicated when you don't follow God's plan and ways. Her style of writing is that of a "girlfriend's book club" setting--- you feel as if she's reading right in front of you and sharing a cup of tea. Loved it!
Lynn's books are awesome. I was introduced to her writing by a friend and I am here to say, Lynn's books are both inspirational and informative. You can tell right away she is an anointed woman of God and the wisdom she imparts is immeasurable. Thank you so much for sharing your work with us.
A lot of people said this when I was a child, so the idea was planted that it takes more than prayer. Still, I think this book is great and not just for those who didn't know you had to do one's part along with God.
I read and re-read this book. I like the way she has it in short chapters with the 16 steps to take.
In the stress chapter she tells you to figure out your stress signs and find out what works for you. What good advice because people react in different ways to stress.
She has a way with words and expressions and brings the scriptures to life.
This book is a reminder and helper to us all. Lynn, has been there and can help you out. I like where she wrote about our armor. She said your armor protects your heart,mind,body, and soul. Your armor will help you stand flat-footed and firm during the battle. How many people today have gone into battle without their armor on? Take time to put it on you need it...I need it....
